DESCRIPTION:The group that calls itself “Afternoon in Paris” performs morning\, noon and night – whenever an audience is keen to hear them. Their style and repertoire are inspired by the Hot Club of France of the 1930s and 40s with Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. \nSwing\, Latin\, gypsy jazz and blues and usually an infectious rhythm are the characteristics with virtuoso musicianship. \nSusanna Warren is a striking performer – vocals\, saxes\, and bass clarinet whose talent is firmly based on her classical training in the UK and Hungary. She started performing jazz in the UK and around the world in 2007. \nJeremy Young\, alongside his career as a successful rock musician\, fell in love with and studied the Manouche gypsy jazz style of rhythm and picking style.
