DESCRIPTION:“Minds Matter are very excited to announce their debut variety show\, taking place on Friday 17th March 2023 at the Shoreham Centre. This show will be raising money in aid of Heads On and all proceeds of the event will be going to the charity. \nHeads On are the NHS Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust charity who raise money for local mental health services. Mental health is abundantly prevalent in our society so Minds Matter wanted to host an event that raised awareness around these ongoing issues. \nThe show will have performances from a live band (The Empty Seats)\, a pop singer (Rachel)\, Dancers (Diverse Dance Works)\, a local sea shanty band (The Wellington Wailers) and a comedian (Hasan Al-Habib). The majority of these acts are local to Sussex so we are hoping to raise awareness and bring a sense of community. \nThere will also be a speech from Brooke Lowther who has lived with mental illness the majority of her life and also a prize draw for audience members.
