DESCRIPTION:Julian Stringle\, clarinet\, with Mike Hatchard on jazz piano and Paul Morgan on bass\, Sunday September 6th at 11am in the Queen Elizabeth Room in the Shoreham Centre \nJulian is a world class player of the clarinet. \nVoted Best Clarinettist in the 2019 British Jazz Awards. Julian is also brilliant on alto and tenor saxes. He played sax with Meatloaf at Wembley Stadium and with Tina Turner in Monaco. He is a fine singer\, too. \nOver the years Julian has played and recorded with many of the world’s top musicians. He has composed film music and arranged scores for big bands including a big band in Paris which he conducted to record with Charles Aznavour. He is actually\, also\, a very modest and approachable man. \nJulian’s passion for music covers many styles – Gershwin\, Bechet\, Rodgers and Hart\, Bernstein\, songs from Hollywood movies and Broadway shows\, Jobim\, Delius\, Rimsky Korsakov and a great many more. \nTHREE BRILLIANT MUSICIANS \nJulian on clarinet\, pianist\, Mike Hatchard and bass player\, Paul Morgan present great music with style and humour.
