Come and enjoy singing in a friendly group and in the open air!
We rehearse indoors at the Shoreham Centre, term time only and sing out doors at events to celebrate the Summer Solstice, Tree Dressing and Wassailing among others. All songs taught by ear, no experience or music reading necessary.
Art Psychotherapy is a process of making images in the presence of a therapist. The art work is used to help express, understand and solve problems.
It’s based on psychoanalytical theory and is a 3 way process, focusing on the sue of art material and the relationship between therapist and client.
Art Psychotherapy can enhance self understanding and tackle deeply rooted psychological problems.
Our club was founded in January 1961 and aimed to foster the practice of the pictorial arts and to enable members to meet for that purpose. The activities include drawing and painting in watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels.
We have demonstrations by professional artists and each year we hold an Exhibition here in the Shoreham Centre to display the work that members have completed throughout the year.
Non members are welcome to join us for our demonstrations at the Shoreham Centre. We meet in Room 8, upstairs and the cost is £4. These will always be on a Thursday afternoon 2-4pm. On each occasion tea and coffee are provided.
We are a very friendly club and we look forward to welcoming fellow artists who share a common interest in learning from others.
