Introductory Yoga Course begins 7th January to 11th February. The class will then continue as a Beginners class.
The class although physically challenging is at a slower pace. It is structured to take you through a sequence of postures that vary each week. Focus is on the structural alignment of the physical body and improving posture.

What is Yoga? Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.
What to wear to class: Clothes that are comfortable and non restricting
Preparation for class: Try to allow at least 2 hours after a meal before you come to class—perhaps have a light snack if you are hungry)
What to bring: Mats/ blocks/blankets / belts are all provided for your use, however you are encouraged to bring your own beloved yoga mat, if you have one. Bring a drink of water to keep hydrated.

Jane was a professions dancer and model for 15 years working in theatre and TV in London, UK and abroad. Jane now choreographs fashion shows and flash mob shows locally. She has been teaching in the community for the last 5 years and has been invited on several cruises as fitness teacher.

Loose clothing and flat shoes should be worn. Students have to be able to stand and move unaided.
