Shoreham Centre, Still Open for Business during the Building Works.....
As you will have seen if you have visited the Centre recently, work has now begun
on the development project to extend the Shoreham Centre to incorporate a new Citizens
Advice Bureau and Council Offices. All three will still operate separately but will
welcome the public through a joint entrance.
We regret that due to the works the Main Hall will be Closed for approximately 4
weeks from Tuesday 7th October. The rest of the Shoreham Centre is still operating
and open for business. We apologise for any inconvenience, but we are afraid that
this matter is out of the Centre’s control.
CLASS RELOCATIONS TO THE CIVIC CENTRE...
Due to the closure of the Main Hall, during October the following classes are being
relocated to the Civic Centre, the council offices in Ham Road, Shoreham, BN43 6PR
Dinki Dancers - Mondays
Strictly Dancing - Mondays
Line Dancing with Mike -Thursdays
Shoreline - Thursdays
U3A Monthly Meeting - Friday 31st October.
WEDNESDAY MARKET RELOCATION
Due to the building works, The Shoreham Centre Wednesday Market will be held at the
Civic Centre (Council Offices, Ham Road, Shoreham) during October. Please note that
the Meat and Fruit and Veg vans will still be at the Shoreham Centre. We hope to
return to normal operating at the Shoreham Centre in November - please look out for
notices or contact us on 01273 454686 for further details.
There is now a new temporary entrance in operation for the duration of the work.
This is situated in what is currently our staff car park at the south end of the
building. Adjacent to the entrance you will see a portakabin in situ. This is the
Centre’s temporary office whilst the new foyer is being constructed.
